We are very lucky in Year 4 to have a very strong team ethos where both staff and pupils help and support each other. We believe it is essential to enjoy hard work and follow the golden rules so we can appreciate our achievements. In Year 4, we encourage the children to develop independence and resilience so they can be successful in all areas of the curriculum and in the wider world. We are ambitious and eager to learn and be the best we can!

Other Information

Please ensure that children bring their reading book and reading journal to school every day. Children should be reading at least five times per week. Please sign their reading journals at the end of the week and ensure they bring them into school on Fridays. Those children who have read five times that week will be given a reward stamp which will earn them a free book when they have earnt ten stamps.

Teachers are available on the playground in the mornings and in the afternoon for a quick chat; please feel free to ask any questions or raise any concerns that you may have. We kindly ask that you wear a face mask when talking to staff. Should you need a longer conversation, we are happy to have a discussion by phone. Please do this via the school office.

If children would like to bring a water bottle and break-time snack to school, they may do so.
